Introduction
AZWA is a prestigious pillar of ALIWA dealing with rice milling and are exporting the finest brands of rice in Pakistan namely Super Kernal Basmati and non basmati rice since 1947 in the town of Jalalpur Bhattian situated in the Punjab province of Pakistan. AZWA is involved in rice growing, development experimentation and bringing improvement in quality as major grower of rice crop in the Punjab province of Pakistan.
State of art processing unit is located in Jalalpur Bhattian, District Hafizabad in the Punjab province of Pakistan where the most supreme quality of rice in the sub continent “Kernal Basmati “ is being cultivated. Second rice processing unit is setup at Taunsa city right in the middle of the province of Punjab and Sindh province of Pakistan. The famous river Sindh is passing through Taunsa city and the farmers who are cultivating rice in this region are getting Sindh river water for irrigation purpose. The Sindh river water is highly useful for non basmati varieties of rice like Irri-9, Irri-6 and Super fine rice crops.
The main reason behind for setting up second unit for rice processing at Taunsa city was to process and to export best quality non-basmati rice to the countries like South Africa, Indonesia and Sirilanka where these varieties are very popular.
Our production capacity is 25 ton per hour and processing capacity is 600 ton per day on the world’s latest plant for rice processing. We keep at least 50000 MT stock of raw basmati and non basmati rice always in our stock.
